What age should athletes start performance training?

We work with athletes as young as 14 for foundational movement training, with age-appropriate programming. Serious sport-specific performance training typically begins around 16-18 years old, depending on physical maturity and sport demands. Our programs are tailored to each athlete’s developmental stage.

How does performance training differ from regular gym workouts?

Performance training is specifically designed to enhance athletic qualities like speed, power, agility, and sport-specific skills. Unlike general fitness, it follows periodized programming, includes movement quality assessment, and focuses on transfer to sport performance. Our EZBack Pro™ technology also provides specialized support for athletic movements.

Can I combine performance training with my team practices?

Absolutely! We design our programs to complement team training, not compete with it. We coordinate with your competition schedule, adjust volume and intensity around games, and focus on qualities that may not be fully developed in team practices. Many of our athletes train with us 2-3 times per week alongside their team commitments.

Do you work with teams or only individual athletes?

We work with both individual athletes and teams. For teams, we offer group performance sessions, pre-season conditioning camps, and in-season maintenance programs. Many local Cremorne sports clubs and schools partner with us for their athletic development needs.
